The late Senator John Lewis defined the “Beloved Community” as a society based on love, peace, and justice, where all individuals are treated with dignity and respect, and where problems are resolved nonviolently. It’s a vision of a world where hate and violence are replaced with compassion and understanding, and where social and economic inequalities are addressed.
Indivisible Paw Paw (IPP) is striving to help organizations across Van Buren County that represent those most affected by the Trump Administrations budget cuts and fraught immigration policy.
Since our April 19 “Take America Back” protest, IPP has raised more than $2,653 for food and clothing pantries in Bangor, Lawrence, Decatur, and Paw Paw. But IPP didn’t do this by itself, we owe a deep gratitude to the hundreds of people who donated money during each of our protests. Without them, none of this would be possible. Thank You!
